About Madeleine

Madeleine Glenn is a clinical professional counselor at Skylight Counseling Center and received her Masters Degree in Counseling from Northwestern University. Madeleine attended Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. She uses her background to foster creativity in her work as a therapist, and believes that everyone’s story has value. Madeleine’s goal is to help her clients find their voice, and create a relationship in which her clients may thrive.

Madeleine treats many challenges that clients face including childhood trauma and neglect, sexual trauma, interpersonal and relational issues, anxiety and depression, LGBTQ+ related identity crisis, work/job related struggles, identity conflict, tranistion issues, and neurodivergence. Madeleine is committed to looking at how systematic factors like racism and sexism affect client wellness, and believes it is essential to address these aspects of her client’s lives. Her practice is inclusive of all races, genders, ages, religions, and sexualities.

Madeleine takes an integrative approach to counseling, and believes that each client brings with them unique experiences which require adaptive treatment. She is committed to creating relationships built on non-judgement, empowerment, and genuineness in order to promote client life satisfaction. Madeleine views counseling as an opportunity to reduce other’s pain and suffering, to manage life’s challenges, and find fulfillment, self-acceptance, and purpose.
