Rocky is a creative therapist who is entirely passionate about the therapeutic experience. He is committed to his clients, working diligently with them to maximize their mental well-being and to navigate towards an insightful life experience.  His approach is non-judgmental, collaborative and often unique. Rocky values challenging clients to honor their personal potential and to foster a transition that allows new possibilities of strength, growth and healing.

Rocky has extensive experience in working with individuals, couples and groups.  He specializes in children, adolescents and families struggling with transitions, anxiety, stress, depression, attention deficit challenges and self injurious behaviors.  Sessions are a blend of work, humor and healing; while evolving to a new hope-filled perspective. Rocky believes in a collaborative approach drawing on strength from the therapeutic relationship to search for joy and meaning; embracing personal resilience and depth to create something helpful, something new.      

Rocky received his Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University, Minneapolis MN.  Rocky has completed trainings in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).  Rocky has recently relocated to Chicago and holds a license in the State of Illinois; prior to his move he practiced for over 10 years in Minnesota.  He has worked in multidisciplinary teams focusing on Autism Spectrum Disorder and as a Special Education consultant to Minnesota’s District 287.
