About Staci

Staci believes that self-awareness and compassion are the key ingredients for change. Using authentic warmth, empathy and humor she creates an environment of connection and safety where clients feel supported as they explore, reflect, and heal. Staci honors each individual’s story, experience, and ways of coping, and believes that every person has the fundamental capacity to grow and evolve.

Staci works with individuals, adolescents, couples, families and groups facing stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, body image issues, and eating disorders. She has an integrative approach to treatment and believes that collaboration, when appropriate, will assist clients to create a team of treatment providers for optimal healing and wellness.

Staci received her Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Family Institute at Northwestern University. She completed her clinical training at the Bette D. Harris Child and Family Clinic and was a volunteer therapist at the Mental Health Human Rights Clinic in the Chicagoland area. She completed one year of training in Maudsely Family Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy at the UCSD Eating Disorder Research and Treatment Center in San Diego, CA. Additionally, Staci is a certified yoga instructor (RYT-200) and teaches Yoga for Body Image workshops and has completed trainings in trauma-informed yoga and yoga for eating disorders.
